My previous career including getting students ready for new careers - both academically and with the vitally important “soft skills.” I loved this work and my office door was open to anyone unless it was closed because I already had someone in with me; everyone knew that I was there to help beyond schoolwork and I always had Kleenex plus a box of toys to entertain small children.

 

I am also passionate about preparing students to not only write a killer resume and ace an interview, but negotiate a higher salary and map out their next three career moves. My campus was close-knit and co-workers processed life’s ups and down and pondered parenting dilemmas with me frequently. I have assembled a full tool box over my life and I love to share teachable skills with others so they are empowered to move through life with confidence.
